My company Copper Forest, LLC. is the culmination of a career in landscape design, maintenance, and installations. I received my AAS degree in Horticulture, with certificates of Arboriculture and Maintenance from Lake County Community College, in Illinois, and my BLA Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland. My experience as an ISA Certified Arborist, has given me the opportunity to create designs which are sensitive to existing trees, and focus on the right plants, in the right place, well-spaced. In conjunction with my Copper Forest design work, I evaluate trees, as an Urban Forester, with Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc.; creating Tree Preservation Plans to assist designers when working with existing trees in landscapes.
