How to Join APLD Step by Step:

STEP 1

Join the National level of APLD by clicking the button below. This will also give you access to your local chapter.

STEP 2

You will receive two emails from our Chapter website (check your spam folder). One notifying you that an account has been created and one with a link to set your password.

*please note that Chapters are notified monthly so it may take a little time before we can create your chapter profile.

STEP 3

Log in and set up your profile photo, cover photo, bio and regions of services. See video below for instructions.

Join APLD Anytime!

We’re always excited to welcome new members. The DC/MD/VA Chapter is made up of talented, supportive designers who love to connect and share ideas.

How Membership Works:

  • APLD membership follows the calendar year.

  • Join through APLD International at the level that fits you.

  • Be sure to also join the DC/MD/VA local chapter—it’s required for all members in our area.

What Happens After You Join:

  • Once you sign up with National, our webmaster gets a monthly list of new chapter members.

  • You’ll receive two emails. (1) A welcome with your new chapter account info (2) A prompt to set your password

Once you set your password, you can log in to add your profile, cover image, and other details.

If you're a Professional or Certified member, your profile will appear in our Find a Designer directory.
