How To Join APLD
APLD welcomes new members at any time during the year. The DC MD VA Chapter is comprised of wonderful designers who form a supportive professional network.
APLD membership works on a calendar year basis. Members pay dues at the appropriate level to APLD International. New and returning members must also join our local chapter.
After you have joined the National APLD, our webmaster receives notice monthly of new chapter members. A chapter account is set up for you, and you will receive two emails. The first notifies you that you have a chapter account, and the second email asks you to set your password. After you set up a password, you can upload your profile and cover images and other information.
Professional and Certified members will be listed in our "Find a Designer" directory.
How to Join APLD Step by Step:
Step One:
Join the National level of APLD by clicking the button below. This will also give you access to your local chapter.
Step Two:
You will receive two emails from our Chapter website (check your spam folder). One notifying you that an account has been created and one with a link to set your password.
Step Three:
Log in and set up your profile photo, cover photo, bio and regions of services.
